Anyone else out there having problems with the touchscreens on their Rock ola slimlines. Every 4 - 6 weeks I have to remove the monitor, take it our of its frame and give it a good cleaning. Pain in the butt (about 25 minutes) Its always the right third of the monitors that does this. All 4 of them have had the problem. Some still would not right after cleaning and had to be replaced. Also, these boxs will freeze up about once a month and have to be replaced. AMI seems unable to figure it out. Thanks, Dean

2 Of my locations have complained about this process of the vol going up and down. Havent figured out a solution. Its not the difference between one song to another, it seems to happen during the song. AMI had no suggestions.

Depends on how the mp3 file was converted and also how the AVC software setting is set. The heavy Bass parts tend to cause the volume to reduce.

on a related note there is a setting for auto volume. now its loud all the time. it will not fade the volume in. so where ever you leave the volume at it will play the next song that loud

AMI (Rowe) has announced that they are issuing a new chip for the preamps of Rockolas because of this volume problem. Turned out that they were designed for ECAST which puts out a different pre Preamp vol level. Chips are free for the next 120 days.
