A warning to whatever f*cknut idiot/engineer at Raw Thrills who decided to use Biostar motherboards in the Big Buck Hunter Pro:

I will be bringing these boards to the ASI show, and jamming them up this individuals ASS! I will be kind enough to use some "3-in1 Oil" as lube to get them started.
What the f*ck were you thinking? I wouldn't use one of these motherboards in my home computer, never mind a piece of equipment that will usually run 24/7 and I derive my salary from! Biostar motherboards are probably the cheapest, crappiest motherboards on the planet! How much more money would it have cost to use an Intel or ASUS motherboard? Considering the amount of downtime we have had, lost revenue, pain and suffering and stress, we would GLADLY have paid the difference.
This pile of 3 is only the tip of the iceberg - I have either rebuilt or garbaged probably
40
of these now.
So be prepared - I swear, someone is going to have these anally inserted or eat them at the ASI show!

We would sure love to find out exactly what creates our Tokyo Drift computer problems, as like others, we spend hours on location some weeks reinstalling the software to keep these booting up.
As fir the Buck Pro's, same situation as others with those #*^@#@ mother boards.
Please make an announcement of the exact time when the anal insertion is to take place. I may rent some bleachers and drag them to the show floor for this event. Want a good seat! Do expect a crowd for this one. Common though, 3 in 1 oil costs a bit more, so why not use cheaper KY jelley?

I have one Buck Hunter Pro, one Superbikes, and two Tokyo Drifts in the same location (movie theater). The Buck Hunter Pro and Superbikes never give me any trouble. It's always the Tokyo Drifts giving me the old rebooting routine all the time.

check your video card for swollen caps. New egg has an EVGA 6200 agp 256mb card for around $40. I think you'll find this will keep your game from resetting. You will need to reinstall the software whenever you replace the video card. This has eliminated the problems we had with our Drifts.

They wonder why we cant pay our bills on time. I have about 20 raw thrills machines and all have had computer problems. They are a rip off. The probably spend $1000 to build a buck hunter and then charge us $4400 for it. Its hard enough to make money with these, and then start getting $500 repair bills for computers that are less than a 2 years old. Plus the game stinks, then they are so greedy the keep making new ones, safari, open season, so fast so the locations squak and want the new one. How come Ms. pacman was so reliable. I have about 10 original ms pacs and the pcbs really go down. I just had a 1 year old safari have the colors go out on the monitor. What the ++++??? I have an pacman my dad bought new with 388,000 plays on it with the original monitor. Never been worked on!!!! Betson is out to screw us

Hi new user here, this has been an interesting topic.
I work as a freelance tech in the U.K,I have only just returned to the U.K from working abroad and in 2 months i have repaired 6 raw thrills pc's.
One operator I do work for told me that the U.K distributor for raw thrills charges around $1000 repair on these.I did the repairs for around $300.
Still not as crazy as sega repairs costs-$1200 for a graphics card for lindbergh.
Anyway this looks a good forum and I hope to contribute to the tech section

Check the threads on "Big Buck Hunter Pro Motherboards" on this forum, under Video Games. There is a replacement motherboard that works awesome, from Gigabyte, that costs about $50.

If you have the f+f drift with the usb "Voyager" flash drive the drives are troublesome, I had to reinstall the software every few months to keep them running. They are 4 gig drives but only 2 gigs are formatted and used. I changed mine to the free promo happ 2 gig drives and have never had a problem since.
Same crap with bowl o rama's using the same crap voyager flash drive.
